Yixin Yang

Yixin is a Ph.D. candidate at Nanjing University and a visiting Ph.D. researcher at Princeton University. She received her bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University in 2021. Her research centers on compound hydrological extremes using data-driven tools such as complex network and statistical modeling. She has been working on spatially compound flood and hydrological whiplash (transition between discharge extremes) at continental and global scales. She expects to receive her doctoral degree in December 2026 and is actively seeking postdoctoral and faculty positions in hydroclimatology and  hydrometeorology.
